i don't think they'll ask hard questions to catch u out. just make sure u know the A-level syllabus. it's really nothing to stress about.

    expect the unexpected....

they will ask u some economics related questions, but u r not required to know any economic theory. u do have to show some insight though.

If u haven't done economics b4 then they won't ask u about syllabus but they expect u to have some general knowlege about the current economic issues...perhaps u should do some reading about current issues...e.g. trade war between US and the rest of the world etc...

In biblical times Joseph carried out the first buffer stock scheme. Why would he not be in the same position to do that today? (economics, Cambridge)
Actually, there is only a slim chance for u to get these abnormal questions. The format of interview varies depends on which college and course u apply for. Basically, u would have an academic one and a general one. Some colleges will ask you to do a test before the interview so that they can discuss the paper with u later.
    Good luck.

I am applying to Trinity and I am an international student. I didn't have te chance to study economics before, so what should I expect at the "academic" interview? do different interviewers prefer certain discussion topics? all comments (especially from Cam sudents) are welcome. thanks
