Basically i'm on a 13 week course on New Deal, and instead of being bored out my brains sitting in a room doing nothing for five days a week, I have asked to go on placement. So I have a placement but the thing is I don't have no money to afford to buy uniform, and I went to the Job Centre to see if i could get some help on buying clothes for my placement and they told me I am not entitled to it.
This has left me frustrated, because I honestly don't know what to do, should I turn up to my placement wearing jeans lol, or should I not go untill I can afford to get clothes, and if I wait for money, someone will take my place, so i'm in a bit of a dilemma really.
Anyone got any suggestions.

Ask for a loan at the job center. They may do you a crisis loan but tbh I doubt it. If you have no money and no way to borrow a bit I think you should just go in what you have, but go as smart as possible.

Where's the placement?
Surely you must have something that could pass as smart, if not, you could borrow from a friend, or get charity shop raiding
