So I'm relaxing and the dogs are meant to be on leads, along comes this hideous one looking threatening, 'can you stop it doing that please' I say, not because I'm rude, but because it genuinely seems threatening.

'Oooh he's not even doing anything, if you react like that any dog will blah blah blah'

So rude. Why do the owners expect you to like their vile little dogs?

So wtf is in the wrong here?

Just a pug with really horrible open mout and teeth, and they sense fear, so I get agitated and ask her to stop it, and I don't get an apology, just a pathetic belligerent response.
I don't think the owners appreciate they make you nervous, they just expect everyone to love them. Don't give me a ******* lecture, put the damn thing on a lead.
