I have an urge to try and make onigiri (japanese rice balls)
Does anyone have any idea where I can get sticky, white, glutinous rice? Do normal supermarkets sell it?
    :p:

Large supermarkets will most likely have it, or you can try a chinese supermarket - they sometimes have japanese stuff too

Oo is that the same sort of stuff you would make sushi with? I've been having urges to make some little sushi rolls but didn't realise you could just buy the rice ready to use?

You can't - sticky rice is the variety, not the consistency. You buy it like normal rice and cook it at home.

OP - most Sainsbury's now seem to be getting an exotic food section, and most of the ones I've seen sell sushi rice. They also sell nori, if you plan on also making maki ^_^.
