I think it's most certainly possible  you can't help loving things about people, and you can't help it when you happen to click with more than one person simultaneously

I've been in love with a girl and a boy at the same time!

To be fair , you're very beautiful. So once a male looks your profile picture he's going to be distracted .

[ON TOPIC ] - I think it's possible to be in love with two people at once or even three , why not ?. There shouldn't be any debate about this , the answer is clearly yes .

I genuinely don't think one can be in love with more than one person at the time, that's more like pimping and playing around.

    No thanks.

When you're in love, lust and infatuation definitely come into it. You can't really separate them.

I can't imagine that if a person was truly deeply in love with someone, that they could love anyone else. It seems like too much of a betrayal. Just my opinion of course, but if someone claims to be in love with two people, they can't know the meaning of the word properly.
    This exactly!

When you're in love with someone, they belong in the centre of your heart. You fully accept them and feel they connect with you on all levels - emotional, intellectual AND physical. You may love certain traits of different people, but it's not being in love. Like Sakura-Chan said, it's a betrayal to all involved, because you're never fully committed to one person.

I struggled to love someone I was with for two years, anyone that manages two loves at once is just way too emotional.

Do you think you can only truly be in love with one person at one time?

    If so, why?
Why can't you be in love with two different people for different reasons (or even similar reasons)?
I'm talking love, not infatuation or lust.

Edit: By the way, I'm aware that these can be a part of love, but I'm not talking about them by themselves is what I meant.
So what are your opinions? What have you experianced?

I don't think it's possible. I love my bf enough to never want to think about being with anybody else, in fact, the thought makes me feel sick. You can be in love and find other people attractive - but you wouldn't fall in love with them, simply because you would be so committed/devoted to your partner.

    Well,
quite frankly I believe I'm still in love with my ex, but I'm in a relationship with somebody new, and I've started thinking that I won't be able to love him until I'm over my ex, but I used to think the two things were completely unrelated.

    You're describing passion.

Love is the feeling you have twenty years on when you both look ugly and live in some suburban house and the kids have left.
    Love is commitment, imo.
