Beauty in women isn't really all that subjective. I can't be bothered to look it up now, but there have been plenty of studies done showing different pictures of women to people from all over the world, and the most beautiful women are the same in each country, even ones which haven't been exposed to the media. Beautiful women, facially, are those with softer, average looks - striking features etc, are far less attractive. That's why composite images combing two pictures of women into one are more beautiful than the individual pictures.
Saying that, the 'standards' of beauty are higher in countries where pressure is put upon women to become unrealistically beautiful due to celebrities, and airbrushed advertising.
