    i always wondered about this.
I met a few guys who in the beginning they were chatting with me,flirting etc..
then when they realised I am quite shy like I don't know what to say to a total stranger this just put them off.
the last time that happened ,this guy was like talking to me since the beginning we accidently met,(I started talking first saying random things and then he went like, your name?)then we talked for a bit but seriously what can you say to someone you met that day?
Do you prefer the woman to be the hunter or you lol?

As long as you can hold a conversation, then you'll be alright. Shy or not shy

One word for you guys to google: preference. Remember it well.

Shy at first? No, I don't mind.

Timid in bed? At first I don't mind but if they don't have raw drive then it isn't going to go far.

I don't mind a girl being shy but if she has serious body issues (ALL girls have body issues, I mean to the point were they actually hate their body) then it could be problematic.

I found you!! You're the guy that repped me :p: thank you.

On-topic: I'm one of those people that everyone thinks is quiet...I'm shy at first but I'm pretty bubbly when I've got to know someone! :p:
I'm also shy, but not shy at all in bed :ninja:

although shy girls can be quite cute, they can equally be annoying

I love a girl with confidence, the type who will dance like an arse and wouldn't give a damn about what others think

Loud girls are the worst though :P

I hate loud people in general but if shy means "I don't know how to have a conversation and demonstrate that in a way that looks like I'm being unfriendly" then no I don't like that.

It's all preference. I doubt any shy/introverted guy would go for me as he'd find me too indimidating. I'm 'loud' in the sense that I am very often the the focus of a group conversation etc., I'm noticed in a group and am forthright with my opinions.
But then I wouldn't find a guy that was intimidated by me attractive.

I'm sure there are some guys who do, and some who don't. As someone above said - preference.

And as for those who say "I'm not shy when you get to no me", surely that's a tautology? I always thought shyness was about how comfortable people were with new situations.
