played footbal yesterday after my english lit exam, i went to saved the ball and it hit my middle finger dead on. I didnt put on an ice pack on till i got home a while later. Today the broozing has come through and it black on the underside where it bends.
Its my writing hand! and i cant write for 2 hours tomorow for my R.E exam if it stays like this
What can i do to help the broozing go down?
And what can the school do if i cant write for the exam?

Go to your doctor! Or A&E! At least so you can get a note to take to your school about it.
If you can't write they can get a classroom or teacher to scribe for you in a different room to where the rest of the exam is happening. So you dictate to them. Make sure you tell the school as early as possible in advance though.
put an ice pack on the bruise for like 20 mins, make sure the area is really cold, i mean really really cold
then go put ur hand in some hot water, as hot as u can stand without being burned.
it will flush out all the bruising. yes, it actually does work
thats only a good idea 48 hours after injury due to the inflamation process - the postee needs to ic until tomorrow - for a max of TEN minutes (not twenty) every 2-3 hours...........
i'll try that after the exam then lol, i'm going to go to the doctor later and get a certificate for a scribe. But they sed i can have 30mins extra instead of the scribe which i think will be better. because then i won't feel presured to say things in the silences when i'm thinkin of ideas.
be careful bout telling the school the true story bout how it happened. my friend had her hand kicked whilst messing around in the park the night before one of our gcse. swelled up to about twice the sixe and wouldnt bend. sch said she shouldve been at home revising stead of out in a park and made her write it herself.

That's terrible! They should have at least requested special consideration from the exam board.
Even my school (a real slave-driver) reminds us of the importance of a work/play balance in the revision period.
she managed a b but had been predicted a*. it was just the teacher who was on for that exam - complete nazi. wouldnt let us undo our top buttons and loosen our ties in exams, despite being in sweltering heat, full view of the sun, and no curtains or blinds. We did tell our tutor after that one though, despite it being to late to fix that paper, he didnt invigilate us again. Some teachers were really good, set up really random beachball games on the field as stress relievers. they would call out revision questions while we played multiple catch.

Try putting arnica on it (you'll be able to buy it most chemists), usually helps
ah, wot if its fracuted? i still have feeling in it and i can bend it slightly
about the same
what I would suggest is that you tape it to the next finger (buddy taping). Get some micropore tape. This will help give it some stability. Without an xray its hard to say wether its broken and to be honest if there is no deformity and they find out it is broken the only the thing they will do its buddy tape it like I have suggested. They don't cast fingers and will only do something if it is deformed (i.e. reduce it back into place).
So, I would buddy tape it up, ice is ever 3 hours or so fo around 10 mins. As of tomorrow commence hot cold treatment (5 mins ice, 5 mins heath [in quite hot, but not boiling water]) also around 3 hours apart.....
