Just found out that a guy (sometimes uses TSR so anon) I kissed last night has tonsilitis
What are the chances of me getting it? How can I stop it?

Depends what you mean by a 'kiss'. Just a peck or full on tonsil tennis?
If the latter, i'd say you have a pretty high chance of catching it.
Gargling with antibacterial mouthwash may help.

Its quite high as its the most common way of passing the virus,

You will have to just wait and see... give it 5 days and if you feel ok still then I am sure you will be fine! Tell him not to kiss anyone else! thats how it spreads!
