The Inbetweeners is awful. I watched one episode and found it to be a bunch of people my age swearing a lot and acting like idiots. Everyone seemed to think it was the funniest show ever, so I watched the whole of the latest series, and I still just think it's crude and barely humorous at all.

Anyway. Ignoring the acting of ever character bar Cook, Pandora and to some extent JJ, Naomi and Emily, I prefer Skins. Prefer series 3 to series 2 too. And it's much more like my life has been than The Inbetweeners, but I've embraced the drug culture more than the socially awkward one. :p:

Ugh I hate it, what little I've seen/heard of it anyway. It's completely unrealistic as far as I'm concerned. And I can imagine a bad influence on younger teens. It's like a group of grumpy old men and women who actually hate our generation are trying to be 'down with the kids' by making this show.

I think it's lame. The very least the creators could do is some research, they make all the students behave like they are anti-establishment at college when everyone knows college is optional. As others have said, calling weed 'spliff' is an amateur mistake too.

Its not trying to be a documentary, just be entertaining, alot of stuff in it is far-fetched,its just part of the fun.

I love Skins (probably the first series more)

Don't let them get you down (its just a show:P)

I like it, but the new ones cannot act.
Same, and no they can't act

OP Skins is just fictional, a fantasy. The charaters aren't real, and the whole show does not portray life as it is really. Thing is some people can't seem to grasp the concept that TV isn't real. This is why actors who play villains often receive death threats.

To answer your question, no I'm not disgusted by Skins, just slightly infuriated lol

OMG how can you say that! lol. I LOVE that show! Just shows how people's humour differs I guess

    "YOU BUMDERRRR" classic.

The last series was a bit of a let down but it's far closer to reality than the inbetweeners, who act more like 12 year olds than 16/17.
Really? The Inbetweeners is about teenagers trying to be in the cool group, not getting served in pubs, desperately trying to lose their virginity, getting knocked back by girls they like, saying and doing embarassing things, being embarassed by their parents, having crap cars, not getting into clubs, messing up their exams etc.

Sure, The Inbetweeners is exaggerated, but its a lot more realistic than Skins. The last episode of Skins I saw was when Effy and Cook fell through a secret entrance in the wardrobe into the house next door, where they watched a porno involving Pandora's mum and her next door neighbour. Not to mention that they fell through a detached house! I like Skins, and I like that it has a sort of fantasy element to it, but its not exactly realistic. Inbetweeners is awesome though.

Who cares? people will continue to compare their lives to the lives of characters in TV shows until the end of time. I personally love skins, if people wish to aspire to the characters then so be it. Anyone in their right mind knows it's a load of fiction anyway.

I think they have gone over the top, think about the parent who may have watched the series and now become suspicious about what their child gets up to.

disgusted is big word. I don't like the news series (3) but I liked the 2 previous. Of course it's not realistic as it is a show so there must be drinking, big fights and so on to make huge audience. But some parts are true I think. There's always exaggeration in tv shows but it's not supposed to reflect the true.

    Skins is idiotic and awful
Television made by embarrassingly awful cringe-worthy middle-age people who are trying to be "down with kids"
    and failing
    Channel 4 what a joke

what? people often say "spliff", referring to the finished cannabis cigarette product
which is not the same as weed
and people don't smoke weed unless they are really poor and can't afford bud or hash
    Oo

I'm not disgusted by skins but I think it has really bad acting and is not realistic in anyway at all, I hate how when they were in the woods they were just like...

"want some mushrooms?" it's soo stupid.

it's just a really bad program really.

and since people compared it to the inbetweeners...

the inbetweeners is a better show it has better characters better actors, is more funny.... and is FAR more realistic.
