I'm considering going to Thailand in early August but many tell me its not the time to go as it is the rainy season. Does this mean its going to pretty much rain every day? Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is when i'm going too. I don't think it's always raining. It's just bad when it does, and frequent.

I went to Bangkok and KPN during the rainy season. It was fine, sunny most of the time. When it rained it peed it down, but that's what monsoons are, and they are so much fun. :p: (maybe that's just me). It may absolutely chuck it down, but they don't last very long. Loads of people go at this time of year.

It's still sunny, but yeah likely it will rain for a bit every day-and it's crazy hard rain!! It dries up really quickly, doesn't affect what you'd be doing, but it will be extremely humid.
