I'm looking for a pair of jelly shoes (no comments about how aesthetically appealing they are), like this

http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/st...t_category_rn=

but without the weird peep toe thing going on?

I'd like them for the beach :o:

Or they can be a different style, but still cute and not too 'i'm a 6 year old'.

Most in the shops seem to be sandals rather than a pump style like the Topshop ones...

Barretts had loads of jelly shoes in varying styles the other week. Bit different to the Topshop ones but not too childish. http://www.barratts.co.uk/webapp/wcs...roductId=96765

These still have the peep toe but a nicer peep toe in my opinion http://www.footasylum.com/product.as...09&src=froogle

These aren't very nice in my opinion but are quite different and only £3 http://www.office.co.uk/womens/offic.../5028/13636/1/

Asos in the sale again more of a sandal http://www.asos.com/Asos/Asos-Twist-...&clr=Neon+Blue

I think that there were also jelly shoes in the style of a pump in the Next catalogue by Lacoste however I can't find them on the website.

There is also the higher budget options too http://www.net-a-porter.com/intl/pro...20Reva%20flats

These Marc Jacobs shoes are gorgeous but expensive for the beach! http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/38263

Primark and New Look have some, but they're not great :p:. To be honest, I think the Topshop ones are the nicest ones I've seen around.

They also have jelly gladiators...

http://joythestore.com/JELLY-GLADIAT...campaign=shoes

Or something like:
http://www.jujujellies.co.uk/fergie.htm

I think they're all going to be open toed... or else they'd just get really hot!

Edit: I just found this site which might do things like you'd want- but they'd have to be imported, so they'd possibly cost more. Quite a few designs are wholesale, too... and so can only be bought in 10s... which seems a bit silly. However, there are a few jelly pumps that don't have open toes and you don't have to buy lots of pairs!

I almost broke my leg in some like these, plus they get kinda discoloured and gross. The front bit always trips you up. (I'm not the only one, apparently.)

This.

I love jelly sandals but the thought of closed jelly pumps is horrible. You'd get all slidey and sweaty.

I haven't worn any since I was little. But, I remember even them getting a bit hot! So, closed shoes seems a bit of a no-no.

I don't know, though, maybe they're not that bad!

I do rather like those net a porter ones, but they're just a bit outside my budget...
The betty ones from juju jellies on the footasylum website are quite nice too actually...

Do you think the peeptoe looks weird though? Or is it acceptable?

Ohh I think i'll steer clear of the jelly gladiators, I already have a leather pair :p:
Yeah that is a good point, they would get pretty hot without some sort of opening...

Have you looked at Croc pumps? Don't let the name put you off!!

I have a pair like these: http://www.lookatmycrazyshoes.com/cr...=36&colour=488

but in purple, and they are the comfiest pumps I own. Most people compliment me on them and don't believe they're Crocs.

You can shove them in the washing machine as well. I don't like the normal Crocs, but these ones are really nice and stylish as well as being comfortable!

Here's a pair more like the ones you posted:

I have a silver pair but they aren't in the style you're looking for. I think any pump jelly shoes are going to have a hole somewhere so that there's a place for water to escape unfortunately. The ones I have are like these. I know what you mean it's a great material for the beach since you can go in water and they dry so easily when you come out. If you don't like toe ones though you could go for ones like these.

Like, ... brown? on the edges, where they glue them together. This is after they've got sandy/wet. I'd go for those pastel coloured ones that someone linked to, as opposed to the glitterly/transparent ones.
