Weird period

Hey

Just wondered if this is normal or if something's a bit weird. Yesterday I started my period, but it was insanely heavy for about 20 minutes, as in leaking through a tampon. Now it's gone back to normal, maybe slightly lighter. I'm on the pill btw.

It's normal I would guess. Everyone's got different period 'flow', heavier during the first few day(s). Seeing that you're on the pill = it may **** up what you're used to.

Because on the pill you should only have a withdrawal bleed (less bleeding) as the pill stops the lining from forming as much as it would otherwise, and the shedding of the lining is what a period is.

oh....yeah....forgot about biology, ask first think later... lol

But if she is on the pill and the pill causes less bleeding, why does she has excessive one?

I'm not on the pill so my input might not be that helpful..

but I find that my periods vary, sometimes insanely omg I'm going to die heavy, and sometimes insanely short and light... s'life!
