I wish people would stop referring to British doing this. It is wrong when they do it as well, but that is not the issue of the thread.
I agree, many do not, actually most do not, that's why you (in general) shouldn't judge people on the one's that annoy you/you dislike.

Oh P*** off..your all unreal. you keep throwin about facts and statistics..when that isnt real life!!! The people who determine those statistics have never stepped foot in tottenham or hackney...so there perceptions mean s*** 2 me! really were all humans so your state of mind will determine how you perceive people...stop letting the media fill your head with rubbish...
Statistics and facts have direct relation to real life, as that is where the statistics are from.

Saying there is just as much chance of being mugged by a white person as a black person is not factually correct.

Saying black violent crime rates are disproportionate to their population percentage is factually correct.

Why is everyone getting so arsey about the OP's post?? It's not very nice not being able to buy stuff from your corner shop because you don't know polish and have no idea what you're buying, its not nice to be abused at work because you don't understand punjabi, greater london isn't a nice place to live anymore and it doesn't make me a racist to admit it.
To quote Dr Messinger from 'A Handful of Dust' by Evelyn Waugh, "go when you like".

LOL ur brainwashed. Good Luck With That...
Yeah, talking about facts and statistics, I'm so brainwashed .

Real brainwashing is when one slips out factually incorrect yet politically correct statements like "you are just as likely to be mugged by a black person as a white person".

Heh, okay then... Glad you two are agreeing with each other. :p:

I hate the way people on TSR claim 'Everyone who has to live in it hates the multicultural experiment'. Who are you? Do you live in segregated white communities? No one I know holds this view.

Language has never been a serious issue in my experience.
People who talk to their family in their native language on the streets do normally also know English - it's ignorant to assume they don't. People in shops always know English to a decent level (even if they have an accent, so what? I wouldn't get annoyed if they had a Scottish accent and I had to listen a little more closely). People who don't know English very well are not the majority, it's a serious disadvantage to them. Even if they live in an area of minorities, there is rarely an area of just one ethnicity - it is usually a mix of various south asian cultures, for example. So they do not all speak the same language. In schools, it is easiest to socialise in English - even if it's not your first language and there aren't many white people. So kids learn quite fast.

There is statistically speaking more crime in poor areas, and there are also statistically speaking more minorities living in poor areas. But it's still not that bad and fearing black people is ridiculous - many, especially adults or the eldery, are very friendly and Christian, genuinely caring and giving despite having very little themsleves.
The reason they have high violent crime statistics is gang warfare - but guess what? If you aren't in a gang, that usually doesn't effect you. If someone from a rival gang is sending them threatening texts, they're risking getting stabbed. The culture of violence generally doesn't extend to the general public. It's a very sad vicious circle of young boys trying to gain some sense of belonging, power, respect and then being stuck because trying to escape from it could get them killed... It's no reason to fret when you're on a bus with a group of male black teenagers. I have never been mugged, I only know one person who ever was (and that just happened to be by white teens, he lost an Ipod).

People are people, I don't see them as anything else. I can honestly say when I walk in a room full of minorities I don't feel any different. Perhaps it is just because most of my friends are from minorities... because... well, they're people... some people I click with, some I don't. Race makes no difference.

The truth is multiculturalism DON'T work!!! Otherwise South london wouldnt be full of blacks and East London full of Asians. People tend to hang with their own race! further proof multiculturalism DON'T work!!! It's like that in primary skl, secondary, college, and uni!!!

tell that to Damilola Taylor's parents, who's son got stabbed...he was only 10 years old. or Shaquille Smith's parents, who's son was subjected to a brutal stabbing and died aged 14. or even Kodjo Yenga who was 16 when he was chased through london by a gangs with dogs, knives and baseball bats before being stabbed to death.

NONE of them were in a gang.....and are the general public. so i dont honestly think you have a leg to stand on.

No-one seems to consider the enormous impact of the empire and the commonwealth.

When England went over and colonised countries they werent thinking of the consequences and what their descendants would have to deal with in the future.

People now feel they have a strong link with England/London and more importantly a right to be here.
