    So, im years 11 I did OCR..so, does that mean i'm doing OCR for AS aswell...or could it be a completely different board...becuase i want to start revisng the syllabus now

    It could be completely different. Go on your schools web an see the board? I saw mine on the college's prospectus.

    is GCE the same as A level
    I looked on my schol website and it said the board is EDEXCEL
    I'm finding it near impossible to find the a-level biology spec

    Your school won't definitely be doing the same exam board for gcse and A level (gce).. They might be but it's not completely definite so your best bet would be to ask your school or check on your school website or something
