I reckon social networking sites, iPods, mobiles phones (and maybe chavs and Emos).

But in general, the technology generation methinks.

Millenium kids? we will probably be the last generation who will remember passing into a new millenium in about 60 years
    The birth of the chav/emo

    MJ

Now thats a scary thought. Just remains to be seen who will be the last person born in the 2nd Millenium to die..... That might not happen for over 100 years though....

I think we will be remembered for....
    Facebook
Birth of the truly developed internet
    MJ and his death
    Climate change
    Obama
In the UK being the generation who removed Gordon Brown from power
    Developing the internet

Sorry if you're offended. I'm pretty apathetic about it all.

in terms of music, there's dubstep (e.g. Skream), indie rock, bassline UKG (e.g. T2), electro pop (e.g. Lady Gaga) and modern drum and bass (e.g. Brookes Brothers) which could be remembered for getting relatively popular.

Probably technology things like ipods and facebook (and TSR:yes: ) lol

I can imagine in 60 years time, with chav grannies and emo grandads still at war. Old wrinkeys won't have the blue rinse and set, or perms, it will be custard yellow extentions and a spray tan for them! And any outfit isn't complete without a belted waist and a wag bag, to hold Tinkerbell XXIV the chihuahua. Our evenings will consist of Eastenders, where Dirty Den will have miraculously come back to life...again, and Big Brother 82 with a very elderly Davina.

Though I hope it'll be for all the new technology etc. And all our obsessions (Harry Potter, Big Brother, Facebook) will probably be mentioned.
