I have been baking mountains of scones (which seem to disappear at a rate of knots in my house)...but am bored with the standard recipes.

I have tried the basic sultana as well as cherry, apricot and cinnamon and savoury cheese. Tomorrow I'm going to try it with fresh blueberries and wondered if anyone could think of any good combinations?

I'm tempted to suggest apple, but that probably wouldnt work, and just scones? If you want a change why not try baking other things? Cakes, biscuits, pies, brownies etc. there would be thousands of things for you to try out.

White chocolate and raspberry is a bit of a classic. Works very well. :yy:

Herb ones? Rosemary and thyme or garlic and chive? Nice with cheese. Or try blue cheese (stilton is probably best) and dried cranberries/apricots.
