What are they going to do; cancel all lectures too?

It's stupid. You're probably going to get it eventually anyway so you may as well not bother.

Oh get a grip ive got it at the minute and dont feel that ill i didnt even in the 1st few days when it at its worest. Its just as bad as fresher flu was last year. Why spoil everyone fun over a small viruse. Yes people with underlying health conditions should possibly avoid going out in fresher but thats it.

lmao you really think a flu is gona stop people going out and getting drunk i hardly doubt it teenagers with no underlying health problems will obviously have to stay in or watch were they go and who they are with but for normal teens we are healthier and will survive so i won't stop us from making or own activities and meeting people

How pathetic. Swine flu isn't nearly as bad as regular flu.

It's ok, just make do with a normal Piss up. Swine flu is seriously over hyped.

Another example of Swine Flu being over-hyped.

It's impossible to 'cancel' fresher's week because most freshers week events don't happen on University owned premises!

    What the hell?
All that's going to do is move the date people get ill, from fresher's week to first week of lectures. And how are they going to 'cancel' fresher's week, anyway? It's like cancelling Christmas.
