There have been tonnes of these threads. Most people are scared sh*tless about thier results. I think excitement will occur when people know where they are going (post august 20th)

wait a sec, are you unconditional? or an IB student, if so you have a right to be excited

My birthday is on August 20th, why couldn't I have been born a year later

I'm currently at Southampton University, the change is unbelievable if you're the kind of person who has always wanted to try something new but been apprehensive about it like I was. Im a totally different person to who I was a year ago, I'm sure you'll all enjoy it :yep:

It's annoying that everyone I know is looking forward to it and I really am not. I am not scared, puzzled or confused about it, I am just bored of the idea of it already. I wouldn't be fussed if I didn't go but instead I am wasting 4 years and a lot of money to do something I will most likely find boring ... meh.

Very excited! Can't wait to move away from here and meet lots of fun new people.

It's gonna be a blast I know I'll get a little nervous when it gets nearer but I have a feeling it's gonna be fun.

Then why the hell are you going?? You know you don't HAVE to go to uni, it is a choice, and it's not too late! If you really think you'll just find it boring...you'd be better off saving your money or finding a course you'll actually enjoy!

I'm not talking about you now, but on a related note it really bugs me when people (like most at my school) go to uni just cause it's "the done thing" and are more bothered about meeting people and drinking than their course, and they just choose to do something they don't even care about

I'm pretty super excited. This will be my second time round as a fresher so I'm also unconditional and I kind of know what to expect: a lot of fun! The first time I was not excited at all, I wasn't ready or prepared and I kind of just floated through the year in a "meh" attitude and hated the place by the end of it but this year I'm so gearing to go! All I need is some cash to start buying everything I need.
