I am in my first year at uni, but have decided to drop out, and so I am applying again this year through clearing.

Last year, I achieved a B in Biology at my sixth form. But this January, I resat one module at my old Sixth form, to try and push my grade up to an A.

How do I enter this on UCAS? When I put down the certified date, which I presume is January 2009, when I completed my resit, it says that I had already left the school be then, and won't let me put down pending.

Also, when I do get my resit result in August, how would I make it update automatically on UCAS?

    Thanks

If you resat it at your school then that is your exam centre and so I would have thought that you should put it down as a school you attended above and beyond what you already have (even if technically you re-attended it for only a very short period). As far as getting it updated, I imagine that it is linked through your school/college if you apply through one, otherwise you might have to tell them to update it yourself.

So as I am applying as an individual, would UCAS be able to see my Biology re-sit when results come out, and thus update it on my UCAS, by matching up the names?

When I applied again to UCAS this year, I stated that I had applied a year ago, and some of my old UCAS details were imported on my new application, so would it automatically update for my new UCAS?

Otherwise, how would I update it myeslf?

Your best bet is to ring UCAS and check -
