By operators do you mean Thomson, Thomas Cook etc.?
    If yes, I don't know.

You can go on airlines on your own (Ryanair, Easyjet etc.) under 18, and then you could book your accomodation seperately. I know that will work (hotel policy depending)

Hi, yeah I was thinking this, how do i book accomodation separately? I don't want to book it through some dodgy-looking website lol, but places like expedia wont let us book as you have to be 18?

    Crap ones.

Most of them will let you go with a parents signature I think.

Whenever I've done it I've went on tripadvisor and looked at the hotels in the place I want to go, read some reviews, and if they have their own site, and the reviews are all good, I'll book it.

If you use a visa debit (maybe electron too. But use electron for booking flights if you can) or a credit card, you're fully covered for anything that fails to deliver.

"2wentys" through First Choice, I think? My best friend went with them last year, aged 17 and I'm 99% sure that is where all of the people in my year have booked through this year, aged 17. If you're looking for that kind of holiday that is (:
