It's happened twice and I've told them in each case.

Did it work in your favour?

So thinking about it, you'll risk it again if given the chance?

It would depend really... If I knew them quite well I'd come out with it but if it was someone who I just sort of fancied from afar then I'd probably avoid the question. Though to be honest if you avoid the question you are basically admitting it anyway as why would you avoid the question if you didn't?

You fancy them, so they put it on a plate for you to find out whether you have a chance with them or not.
Big mistake if you don't go for it tbh.

If you liked them i dont see why it would makemuch different if you were to say you felt something for them, seems pointless to beat around the bush and all.

If I fancy them? Of course. How else do people end up together unless they admit they like one another?

If it was just me and them, yep, may as well. If not, I'd put it off and tell them later in private.

When i'm nervous i automatically regress into my secondary school days so i'd just assume they were out to humiliate me.

It depends on how its phrased, and whats happened before its asked.
If they just appear out of nowhere and ask it rather bluntly, i'd feel more affronted and more likely to be like NO. Where did you get that preposterous idea from, did steve tell you that perchance?

    "Do you fancy me?"

    "Pfftt.. No bighead"

Something about asking this just makes it a little too forward. Where has all the subtlety gone?
