I have yet to find a pair of jeans that look good and are durable, i have a few from primark and places like that, and they are durable, only ripping after a long time, but look a bit crap, they have no real shape. I have a pair from topman which look good but the pockets are very bad, luckily i haven't lost anything important when a hole is torn in them, i also own a winter jacket from there but that isn't really durable either. I own a few shirts and a blazer from H&M, and it isn't too bad, so i might have to take a look there.

The secret to good looking jeans that last ages is BUY LOTS. If you have more than, I dunno let's say 5, pairs of jeans that you alternate wearing then they should last you YEARS. Some people say that I have far too many jeans (I have about 10 pairs I wear fairly regularly), but I still wear jeans I got when I was 14 and they're still in good condition (and I'm almost 22 now btw).

If you want general hints on brands, then go for Energie. You will normally be looking at 85-140 quid for a pair but they have a good cut and, more importantly, NEVER DIE. I have a pair of Energie jeans I bought 4 years ago and wear them all the time and they're still going strong.

Otherwise Levi's are hard wearing (the pair I've had since 13 are Levi's) as are Ted Baker jeans.
Don't expect to find a pair of jeans that look good and last ages to be cheap, you have to expect to pay more than 40 quid at least (except for sale items).

Even though I'm a girl I think the best places for boys to shop are
    Topman
    Republic
    Bank
Maybe Burtons ( they have nice jeans )
    JackJones
