Hey guys. I've been gyming for a while now and im begining to build up quite a bit however it tends to be a figureless increase in size, i would like it to be a bit more shapely so you can pick out the different muscle groups. I was advised to tone more.
So my questions are thus; what is toning? Will it help? How do i tone?
    Thanks!

There is no such thing as toning. What people refer to as a 'toned body' is one with a certain degree of muscle combined with a low body fat.

If you're happy with the size of your muscles, then it's a case of lowering your body fat. That will give you the definition and aesthetic appeal you desire.

Anyone who says something along the lines of "high reps, low weight = tone" should be immediately ignored. Good luck!

cardio and diet should keep your body fat down. having than average muscle percentage on your frame will help in burninig fat when you are at rest.
