    Hello

I am finally getting round to some long term contraception, as condoms are doing my head in. Have Drs appointment booked for tomorrow and obviously will discuss things then but wanted to see if anyone on here had any views/advice for me, as well.

I am thinking of the Implant... sounds fab, forget about everything for 3 years (if it agrees with me...) buuut, am off on holiday on friday with my boyfriend and was wondering if having the Implant fitted is likely to cause any bleeding? I know it can mess up your cycle quite considerably but bleeding as in a response to it being fitted more than anything. Am in middle of period atm (TMI sorry!!) so don't fancy another week of it...
Also, how likely is it that my local GP will be able to fit it? As I've left it kind of late to go to FPC

Injection? Again any risk of bleeding?

Orrr simple option of just going on the pill, Cerrazette *I think* as it is the same hormone as Implant, to check I don't do anything dodgy with it! Although I would think I'm rubbish at remembering to take it

Sooo, easy option of Implant/Injection, but is there a risk of bleeding?
Or hassle of remembering to take pill for a few weeks and then getting Implant fitted? But hopefully blood free.

    Any advice much appreciated.
