Well as the title says, I'm trying to compile some workout songs to put onto a playlist and am hoping that people can post some songs that are upbeat and can be listened to when working out!

    All help is greatly appreciated

I love dance and trance, Darude's Sandstorm is a good high energy one.
Hip Hop/RnB is sometimes good - Usher - Yeah is one of my faves as is the classic Eye of the Tiger by Survivor.

depends what music your into really and the exercise you hope to carry out.

Cardiovascular exercise merges well with fast paced tracks up beat to match the tempo of work rate. E.g drum and bass, dizzee rascal, fast pop (smack my ***** up sorta thing)

Weight training is a tricky one, some may prefer something similar to that above or some slow grimy hip hop (50 cent - im supposed to die tonight) biggie, tupac you know the drill.

I much prefer listening to audio books and podcasts, but if I want music then I rock out Hold The Line by Toto, St Elmo's Fire by John Parr and Jump by Van Halen. Cheese.
