I dont know if this has already done the rounds but its passed me by if it has, looks like some Polish guy has made a Mclaren F1 in his garage using a welded frame, fibre glass moulds and lots of stock car parts. It also looks like a pretty big engine has gone in, certainly not a V6, maybe a V8 even bigger.

All in all i think hes done a pretty good job, even if people have posted other replicas which look as good as the Metro/TT i posted not so long ago :eek3:

edit: heres a better link, still dont know what the finish product looks like though http://curiousphotos.blogspot.com/20...f1-56pics.html

He could have at least made a Chaparral 2J or a Bentley Speed 8

Well at the time he was designing and building it i suppose it was the fastest car in the world, and the most desirable also. Also you cannot really drive a Speed 8 or Chaparral on the roads and get street cred! :p:

Let's hope he sells it off as a real Mclaren to some mug!

    The exterior looks quite good.

The driving characteristics would probably be awful though

I believe that's (a scale model of) the McLaren MP4-23. You must be confused.
