ok so lately iv started to get feelins for my mate, who lets say is called john. we been mates for like 2 years now and know each other through my ex boyfriend. john then went out with my mates sisters mate, and they split up because she did his head in. she still isnt over him and its been 6 months now, she wont stop going on about him to me either, which is annoyin.

i mean its not that we have been out with each others mates which is stoppin me sayin summink to him bout how i feel,

its the fact that im 18 and he is 16.
he dont look 16, he dont act 16, but everyone knows he is 16

does this make me wrong for liking him??

It doesnt matter what other people think - as long as you are both happy then who cares??

So get with him. There's no reason why you shouldn't be happy!

You cant help who you like at times, so there is nothing wrong with you in any way.

Maybe get to know him some more, talk to him and see where you go with it, if it is positive maybe think about taking the reltionship further, you have nothing to lose and alot to gain

You can't help how you feel for one, but if you do happen to hit off with him expect your "mates sisters mate" to be pissed. If you respect that friendship then I advise you don't do anything until she has moved on. You don't have to listen to her go on about him also, tell her that enough is enough!

And a relationship between an 18 and a 16 year old is perfectly fine. *wink*

LOL the thing is his ex is such a hypocrit. my two best mates went out for 4 years they have a kid together and they have recently split up.
now obviously she is upset and is taking it hard, but "johns" ex is really bein harsh tellin her to stop talkin about it and how head doin it is. Shes obviously oblivious to what she is doing herself. she will get over it.

I've never comforted a girl on some stairs at a party, kissed her and spent all night talking to her without liking her at least a little bit...

I've been to enough house parties to know that the upset people take the stairs / corridors, and leave the happy elsewhere.

Does he seem like the kind of lad that'd kiss a girl if it meant nothing to him?

    9 + 7 = 16
