Probably sailing far more dangerous than people think.
Easy to get swept away into a storm, capsize, drown and all that

Only people who've never played rugby/ only played it once say it's dangerous

    freestyle motocross.

there is simply no denying it. sure, the death rate is low. but when the top riders can EXPECT 2 or 3 serious injuries a year....

serious injuries being stuff from bad bone breaks, to concussions, to broken backs/necks, etc...

Rock climbing can be very dangerous if you do it wrong. Everything from bruises, broken bones, having a large bolder falling on your head to falling 2000 feet off of a cliff. That said it is a hell of a lot of fun.

    ohmygoodness. Scary much?!
Pakora filled pakora-people flinging overly pakora'd-pakoras at other pakora filled pakora people. With the normal non-pakora filled people sitting on the pakora-lined sides watching this pakora-ly dangerous pakora sport from just one overly pakora'd pakora shot away.

Indeed, it is well publicised! 1 accident and it's on every newspaper and channel on TV.
Yeah, but motorsport accidents like Massa's are one of a kind, when else does someone get hit in the head by a projectile moving at 170 miles per hour, to knock him out cold so he crashes into a barrier at 125mph, great stuff!

I think surfing can be pretty dangerous. I mean, the proper kind... like surfing pipeline.

Regardless of how good you are, it's ridiculously easy to have an accident that can kill you.
