Star signs and relationships

I think there's bugger all that links them. Sure, I've met some strong-headed leos, but I've met some wimps aswell.

I think as long as there are relationships, and as long as people submit their star signs and their lover's starsigns to magazines, some "scientist" [who really should be curing cancer] will come up with some stats to support ANY theory.

i dunno, i m gonna google for a summary i can post here for anyone that doesnt know what im talking about but often once you get to nkow someone you can guess their starsign using the personality traits. those wimpy leos probably are egostical and firey on the inside.

are your relationships all from similar signs? if not, did the odd ones out be worser relationsps?

Star signs have no physical bearing on anything. If you believe that they do make a difference you might see differences that are actually just coincedences.

oh and HOW THE F*CK is aquarius air?? (aqua = water...)

look at your past relationships. do your partners tend to be the same star sign or group of star signs:

aries,leo,sagittarius=fire
cancer,scorpio,pisces=water
taurus,virgo,capricorn=earth
libra,aquarius,gemini=air

my ex's have all been cancer or taurus. writing my frinds birthdays on my new calender, i noticed they mostly are earth signs

perhaps there is some truth that relationships are determined by astrology. what do u think?must be some truth in it?

What with the whole "procession of the equinoxes" thing, I'm pretty sure the zodiac no longer corresponds anyway, so even if it wasn't a grand pile of nonsense it would all be inaccurate.

hehe, its funny how people fit so well into their element categories. Yes my boyfriend is an earth like me, Although my previous serious boyfriends have been a fire and an air...which is probably why they're Ex's now! But i think you need a bit of variaty in life, hence why my inner circle of friends are all differnt elements and as such we compliment each other!

i believe (note:this is unfounded opinion not fact) that it is due to the pull of gravity from the planets in different positions affectivg development. but what makes personality? the brain? al our brains are the same-ish shape (again unfounded opinion not fact) thus it must be something else

I very much doubt it gravity has anything to do with it. If it did the position of the local buses would have more effect than the planets, seriously, I'm a phsyics student, the gravitation attraction from your monitor to you is greater than any of the other planet (i.e. not earth) in the solar system. I think disputing something because it has no evidence to support it is evidence enough.

yea i got phy alevel at grade A so i sort of know some. i think as we dont know what gravity is - eg a partcle or what, it must hold the key. or perhaps the effect of magnetism on the brain

Well if it's electromagnetism, the planets are neutral so they aren't gonna affect you. Gravity could be caused by a particle or it could just be the curvature of space-time created by mass, no body honestly knows. If you really want to know I'm aquarius and my ex was aries (though she was anything but firery).

Fire needs air to burn and my ex was just telling me that she NEEDS me. That's quite an interesting connection.

She really doesn't fit the aries description above tho. Oh and I'm anything but ideological.
