    I made gingerbread hearts a week or so ago:


    Here is a birthday cake I made for a friend (the tin lid that it's on is sitting on top of the container with a strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake I made also :p:)

    This, my friends, was a cake made for my A level biology class.

    It's a cake, representing an animal cell and it's organelles. You can see the nucleus, golgi aparatus, smooth and rough endoplasmic reticulum, lysosomes, ribosomes, the phospholipid bi-layer, mitochondria... and probably more things that I have missed out.

    The cake I made for my friend's wedding. 3 layers of different flavoured sponge with some sugar roses and sugar petals I made on the top and around the tiers. Took about 2 weeks to make and I had to transport it on the train to the wedding. They were happy though and that was the best thing. That and seeing loads of the guests takings photos of it.

    In Year 11 (eek, five years ago!) I started baking cakes for my friend's birthdays, this became a bit of a tradition and I'm still expected to bake a cake each birthday. I don't know how they coped when I was in Germany (on my Gap Year) for 4 out of 5 birthdays! Anyway, here is the last cake I made:

    *Steals and stamps with a property of Joe stamp...then goes to Sainsburys and buys a few bags of flour, sugar, some eggs, chocolate powder..milk, chocolate bars(to break into chunks).. think that'll do. Possibly some baking soda if any recipe requires it.*

    Back off guys!...and lesbians...AND BISEXUALS! SHE'S MINE!
