Now that almost everyone has been offered accommodation of some sort for next year theres is a whole lot of talk about swapping rooms/halls.

I'm desperate to swap out of my hall but how is this exactly done? With the offer being in your name? what is the process? does anyone know or care to give a description as to how you would go about to do this.

And can intercollegiate halls swap with people from other university for example, theres a person that I might want to swap my room for but he's going to UCL... can that be done?

You can't go to UCL halls if you're an LSE student, no.

You can swap freely with intercoll halls though; if you're going to LSE you can swap with, say, a QMUL student, so long as they're both intercoll rooms.

I think you have to wait till late september to officially swap rooms not entirely sure of the process, am looking to do the same thing myself, but if you can organise it by yourself before hand, all the better.
