    Surely paying your tuition fees and a non-repayable grant? The grant is probably not much though, in the region of £2000. May be wrong.

    On my finance form thing ive got a grant of nearly £3,000, and just over £3.5k for maintenance loan, then still got the tuition fee loan on top of that.

    About £6,500 and if you qualify for that you supposedly get an extra £500.

    For non disabled people without kids its around 10k I believe. I got just over 9k but that was a few hundred below the maximum.
