    Was watching TV and i heard someone say nikey and thought hmm i've never heard someone say that before, must just be them. Then a few weeks later i heard the same thing so it got me thinking, how do you say nike?

    I used to say the other way coz all my family said it like that, but since hearing my friends saying the other way, it's just caught on, and now I find it weird saying the other way

    It's an american brand.



    And it depends on the context. I would normally say nikee, like I would always pronounce it Nikeetown. But with clothing/trainers, I pronounce both ways. I would pronounce the brand itself as nike.

    its pronouned knee-kay. when nike is pronounced 'knee-kay' it is latin for victory

    The proper way is like Nikey. You don't hear it pronounced that much but i have heard a radio ad and that's how it was done. Also, anyone to do with the company pronounces it that way. Most people just say Nike tho rhyming it with bike.
