Thread title says London Underground line. Although all of those are ran by Transport for London, they aren't part of the London Underground network.

Bank to Waterloo (or v.v) in 4 minutes - excellent.

    Northern Line for Arsenal?

You walk from Archway back down towards the Emirates or do you change trains for something a bit nearer?
Lol! I change at Kings Cross to either Picadilly or Vicky, but I couldn't pick all of them. Also, only Northern goes to Barnet and before Uni I used to get to more reserve games than first team games. Thus, Northern line makes me smile.

Given it's opening hours it probably looks like it.

But I was travelling from Barking and I was going to Waterloo for a train (to Southampton, but that's irrelevent).

    Options:

From Barking c2c onto West Ham, change for Jubilee Line to Waterloo.
    or
From Barking c2c onto Limehouse, DLR to Bank, W&C to Waterloo.
    or
From Barking, c2c to Fenchurch Street, walk to Bank, W&C to Waterloo.

I chose the latter, and got from Barking to Waterloo in 25 minutes.
Gave me time for a Sausage & Cheese Butty (with Ketchup) from Burger King

Piccadilly, with Central a close second.

I think the Northern line trains are dirty.

I chose Jubilee as it passes all important stations and runs from the imminent Olympic site through Canary Wharf to London Bridge through the West End. The trains are smart and clean, although some delays can be noticed! Stations are best on whole underground bar none - Canary Wharf or Westminster for example.

Northern - too over-crowded due to the fork.
Central - quick trains that brake late, but always delays!
District/Central/H&C/Met - one line goes down - they all go down!
Bakerloo - no point. London Overground does half of it.
Piccadilly - yeah I like. Not better than Jubilee though.
Victoria - horrid, noisy, constant engineering works and all underground through tunnels!
DLR - Cool, but over-crowded and too slow.
    W&C - cool as it's needed
EL - No point. Who the hell wants to go SE London?
That's the best part about it when it snows it was pretty much the only line with no delays..andd it has lots of important stops like victoria, euston, kings cross and oxford circus =]

I'm shocked to see that Northern is winning as of this post.

I despise it, it's always packed and stuffy.
