I tried looking for a similar thread but found nothing.

I applied for accommodation 6 weeks ago in Sheffield and am yet to hear anything from them yet.

Maybe Im worrying over nothing but with just over a month to go until september it feels like I should have heard some kind of confirmation or anything.

Should I settle down and trust in them to get everything sorted or should I gently bother accommodation services?

    Thanks for the help.

There's no harm in ringing, that way you'll know for sure.

    Dear Mr Brad,
Thank you for completing the accommodation application form. Your data has now been added to our database. The allocation process will begin as soon as you have met all if any conditions attached to the place to study. For the majority of students this will be after the publication of 'A' level results in August and allocations will begin from mid July onwards. University students arriving at different times of the year to take up their place will be dealt with as soon as possible. If there are any changes needed to your application, these can only be dealt with up to the point of allocation, once your form has gone through for allocation no changes can be made.

Plus I was sent an email with an attached letter a few days later.
If I was you I would ring or email them.
