Criminology or police studies watch

    • Thread Starter

I want to go into the police but i want to go uni first
i was thinking about doing police studies but then i heard that criminology was better but looking at the courses...most of them require 240+ ucas points

i was wondering how much better is criminology than police studies?

Personally I would opt for the Criminology. It gives you more options in the long run if you decide to look elsewhere and also whilst at University you could apply to be a Special Constable which would get you some great experience and look good on an application when you come to apply for the Regulars.

I'd opt for the Criminology. Maybe combine it with a social science like, Sociology or Politics? Did a Crime and Deviance module in my degree course, tis was interesting.
