    Hey guys,

I've been accepted to complete my Scots Law Degree at Abertay in September, but unsure about my career prospects after Im done.

To be honest, I dont know if I want to do it for me, or because everyone telling me I can do it. I also don't have any highers and just a HNC in Law - Therefore not much chance of doing anything else, only got into Law because Im a Union Rep in my work and my experience.

Im totally scared. I don't want to be a solicitor, what else can I do with a Law degree? I will be 24 when Im done, so I want to at least be able to hold down a job which secures my future, but not necessarily become a solicitor..

    HELP!

You will be in the same position as anyone else with any degree, you don't have to go into law, most people with law degrees don't actually do that. 24 is not a drawback - provided you get a 2.1 or ideally a 1st these days, the fact that you have work experience prior to uni will pitch you higher in your "band" of graduates when you finish.
