Yes what Wagners said. I know I am a bit extreme, but I happen to know there is a lot being spent on these schemes visitng schools, inviting them free for doing residential courses, and paying current students to talk to them / show them round, whilst budgets for teaching have been cut a lot.

What do you mean by 'failed etonians'? As I said before, I misinterpret because you have been ambiguous. I have tried making extrapolations but which unfortunately culminated in innocent misinterpretations whose semantics differ from your intended semantics and perhaps the epistemological truths you wished to convey.

This too. I don't know why I put up with the retard. He has been putting words into my mouth that I said nurse practitioners shouldn't 'do' ECGs. I merely meant you need someone with a very good experience to do both carrying out the procedure and the interpretation. Whilst what he meant was 'doing' the ECG, as in carrying out the procedure. For both scenarios however, it wasn't biased towards nurse assistants per se, it goes for medical students and junior doctors. It is the knowledge and experience that counts. I've been constantly replying but he doesn't seem to understand. A lot of people disagree with what I have to say, but he doesn't seem to be making any good arguments (perhaps the reason because his English is extremely poor even for a forum). I don't mind txt-speak per se
but the ambiguities in his sentences causes severe epistemological problems in the interpretation of the intended semantics.

No it is your English that is the problem. When you have two independent, officious bystander who both say the same thing, it adds further strength as to the claim that your English is extremely difficult to understand. So it was not just me who couldn't understand you.

    Wholeheartedly agree.
The second to last quote there fronm him i just cannot understand. Where does he work, what does he do

appy? I cannot understand you. Sorry. You still haven't told me what you do, im now leaning towards village idiot.
funny you should say that, seeing as i told you personally the answer to that question several posts ago.

you ought to be aware that other people do read your replies, and it wont elp your reputation by setting yourself up like that.

its direct quote from the widening access staff here.
i've not needed to ask them their meaning, but its obvious to me that they dont want public schoolers who failed to get in conventionally, using the access route as a backdoor.
they use the term because it is self explanatory, not because it confuses people.

I have tried making extrapolations but which unfortunately culminated in innocent misinterpretations whose semantics differ from your intended semantics and perhaps the epistemological truths you wished to convey.
no not 'culminated', you continued your misinterpretation three posts after i specifically pointed out what i meant clearly for anyone to understand.
it was your fault for not reading the words 'not reading ECGs' resulting in you continuing to reply 'you say Nurse Assitants read ECGS!' for a further two posts, sorri if you missing that was a problem for you.

This too. I don't know why I put up with the retard. He has been putting words into my mouth that I said nurse practitioners shouldn't 'do' ECGs.
and i pointed out that you would need to be an idiot to expect an NA to read an ECG, so why are you raising this point repeatedly?> DO you feel that readers on this forum are idiots. i dont.
But on another note, it is sad to see that this didnt stop you reciting the point on this fread. Theres really no need to stubbornly claim 'I've been constantly replying but he doesn't seem to understand' when you know full well that the point you raised (NAs dont read ECGS) is a completely obvious point that everyone here knows. i certainly dont feel that anyone needs to read obvious points like that even once, but you've managed it twice now.

    my contribution.
i would say that i'm not 'people skilled' enough to make it to a loftier posts and (and theitr corresponding wage brackets) in nursing, for instance to sister or matron level.
Whereas in medicine, wage and career advancement is more structured and easier to obtain for me.

combined with my other reasons for doing medicine, i'm making the best use of my skills available in medicine, not nursing, at this stage in my life.

obviously, one needs to be careful about talking about money at say a medical school interview - what you say needs to sound coherent like what i just said above.
