    I lived there in the first year. It's ok if you get on with your flat mates and don't have any problems, but otherwise reception weren't helpful and acted as though it was too much work for them or something. Good luck! :]

    Flat 1, room 3.

    Wondering if it would be worth requesting to move in a few days earlier.. the lease starts on the 20th of September, and Fresher's starts on the 21st.. not really enough time to unpack, meet people, and prepare for fresher's is it ?

    How odd, no results found. But it's nice to meet you early A good friend of mine got placed in room 2, and a girl from my course got placed in 4 or 5. So we've only yet to meet the final room member :P Send me a private message when you read this, or search [email address removed]

    Edit; you're also 21. Awesome. I'm 22, my mate is 20 something too, I won't feel too old. And if you're doing photography, I think we'll get on pretty awesome :P

    Hey, I'm going to be Residential Support at Bramall this year (as i've said in a few threads!)
    If you've not been through the online induction yet you probably have no idea what that means, so i've just pulled that out of the induction information;

    Residential Support Crew
    They are existing students living in your hall
    They have been in your position so they can relate to you and offer advice
    They are aware of all the support available to you
    They help organize and promote social events
    They can buy things for your hall from a Halls fund
    They work with the management team and raise issues on your behalf

    if anyone has got any questions, drop me a PM

    Yeah I found out in the end!
    It's fairly good because all of my flat mates i've met so far are either 21/22 or 23 so pretty glad of that!
