So basically stop hanging out with losers at night clubs, work really hard, get rich and go to some up market joints if you want to attract some classy, high quality birds.

Success is the main factor here.

Chances are that a man who was born poor but exploited some exceptional talents like ability to read the market and then became rich is more attractive to a woman than a man who simply inherited most of his wealth and gained some more by taking it to a private wealth manager to invest appropriately.

    Good lord.
    Why not?

What's the point of going to uni... to better your self and have a nice job.

why get a job? ....to survive. Everyone wants more than they have, it's how we better ourselves

Edit: I'm not very clear... Sorry! I wouldn't date a guy just because he's rich. I agree with bailey's blizzard.... but the topic is "Women are attracted to MONEY" not "Women are attracted to men with money"

i am sure there are many women who would go for the money but not all. personally I would not be attracted to somebody just because they had money. I like somebody for who they are an how they make me feel, not for how much stuff they can buy me or make me look good stood next to a rich guy in a massive house and driving a flash car. of course, if you are in a relationship with a guy with money it's a nice bonus, but it isn't the deciding factor for liking somebody.
as for social status, classes and so on, I just think that's gay.

Don't women look for good looking men as well?
So why the big deal if a man wants a young good looking girl.

The fact is women are selfish...they are not doing it to have a great family and offspring....they look for rich men to have a great life, go on free dates, and all the material things.

Women are the most selfish, 2 face, *****ing dogs
Well they say that subconsciously women associate wealth with raising offspring more successfully. So there is supposed to be biological basis for them being attracted to wealthier men.

Cassie is unrepentant about dating rich men. “Of course it is much better to sleep with men with lots of money,” said the 27-year-old lawyer from London.

“Any girl who tells you different is lying. Rich men are powerful and successful and confident and charismatic. They know what they want, and they go out and get it. That translates to being fantastic in bed.”

Cassie is living proof of the latest scientific discovery about human sexuality: that the number and frequency of a woman’s orgasms is directly related to her partner’s wealth.

Her explanation is simple. “Women don’t want to lie back and think of the gas bill,” she said. “It’s a lot more fun to have sex in the Ritz than the Swindon Travelodge. And to be ripping off Rigby & Peller underwear than M&S knickers.”

    hahaha true

Now, however, science is showing that a rich man’s money has aphrodisiac qualities as well as purchasing power. Their partners really can have it all.

Yes but in this day and age people associate wealth and financial prosperity with success.

So to most women, they would be pretty much equal imo.

Don't believe half the lies on this thread boys.

Remember that sometimes the subconscious determines actions and the conscious only determines the talk.

Of course guys, if and when you do become very affluent there's nothing stopping you from WITHHOLDING your wealth from a woman - nobody is forcing you to part with it for her. You can always just splash out on yourself, no?

    Hmm...not quite.

If you looked at the attitude and intelligence and talent of the two men:

Man A - born into poverty - worked hard, played hard, was talented, excelled in his field - achieved success and recognition.

Man B - mediocre, born into prosperity, not really talented and exceptional but more fortunate, not a specialist at anything.

Remember that Man A could be a surgeon, great sportsperson, tycoon, actor, musician, trader, investor, Nobel Prize winner etc. - probably someone with great leadership qualities.

If indeed women DON'T see much difference n attractiveness between these two individuals of equal wealth then they ARE probably very superficial indeed.

Nevertheless, I still manage to dress like a tramp. :p:
I'd rather get a girl who loves me for who I am and then make her orgasm when she finds out about the money than parade around with the money and **** any hot girl I please.

have you seen the women today????
Dirty ****s, who sleep around, have no mind to have kids but to have great time wearing designer clothers and drinking in trendy bars.
Women of today want money for them selfs to have a great time.

Men could do with women with money to, since houses are so expensive these days, but men are not shallow minded to follow the money of a woman.

Why is it people always make excuses for womens sins.

That's exactly what the researchers concluded.
Hence why I think example B can be viewed as just as desirable, esp if he is wealthier.

But you are also right in a way, since A has proven he has all skills and competence needed to become wealthy and is more likely to hold on to that wealth. On the other hand B likely lacks the same characteristics and is more likely to crash and burn, at which point it would be a completely different story.
