So you did a degree 13 years ago and want to do another one and can't get a loan? Is that what you're saying?

13 years ago you went to university with your fees fully paid and cheap accomodation to study a traditional course to get you into work, most courses were only 3 years anyway.

Why does it matter though? 13 years is a long time ago to be concerned about getting funding for a 4 year degree.

The same applies to anyone who will go to university in the future / is there now (which is 99% of TSR). The difference is that we will come out with £20,000 worth of debt, which will effectively prevent us from saving. You didn't have that problem 13 years ago, so you're not going to get a huge amount of sympathy anyway.
