Haha I like how me and TheGimpMan had exactly the same idea at almost exactly the same time. I almost used the picture he used too, but I remembered the one I used from somewhere else and thought it was slightly better :p:

    A 150bhp corsa doesn't run a 13.
    It just doesn't.

Not with the modifications that have been described.
It might be 13 secconds to get to 60mph, but it certainly wont do a standing 1/4 mile.
    He's dreaming :P haha

I think they do 0-60 in about 8.5 standard, so maybe just under 8 seconds with the extra "30 bhp" it "has". Then 5 seconds from 60 to 110 to make a 13 1/4 mile haha

If i know i can rinse them, soon as it hits green. . . i drag a coupla hundred yards. Have to be careful with the sleepers though.. the bodykit might look stock, next thing you know you're eating V8 dust.

    To Benjybh it's a 110

It would leave it in the dust with one person, but your puny 1.6 or whatever it is would not haul 6 people and the luggage we had like a 2.5 will. You'd have to put your rear seats down just to get the stuff we had in your car, and then fit 6 people in there. Going to happen? No. Also, your car only works on tarmac :p: mine is one of the most renowned off road vehicles of all time.

    Person number 6 and stuff:

Smokey Joe 1 and 2 (yes, it's a big car, and it was packed):

    Everyone in:

Even then, what performance I can claim with my car, was hardly affected at all with the load. The ride was actually better loaded up than it is with just me due to the suspension lift and HD springs. It stops pretty good too, without the load the back wheels just lock up but packed up they actually grip and help you stop :p:

And no, no band. There isn't a musical note in mny body.
You aren't going to be dragging anywhere from the lights mate.

Ha well played for taking the bait.
The 1.8 SRi does 0-60 in around 7-8 seconds standard..
    125Bhp standard
A remap will take it to about 132Bhp but it's jsut not worth doing any engine mods on a Corsa + the fact it's FWD..

So why make up a load of rubbish then?
    And you're wrong, 1.8 Corsa C SRi 0-60 in 8 seconds and 123bhp.
Front wheel drive cars can achieve good performance results, i've driven an ibiza cupra turbo with 380bhp, it will take on 911's.

Nope, it can range from mid 7's to low 8's taking into account the different factors.
    And iirc it's actually 124Bhp.
4WD are generally better though. And tbh if i was to add any engine modifications I would rather add them to a better faster car than spend 2000 quid on a Z20LET turbo and get minimal results to what I would get on another car.

How come, the very many people on the Corsa community, all or mostly averaged mid 7's - low 8's?

So, I think you should get of the forums, /faceplam.

Here people, you will see the typical noob-vs-well respected member battle.

In the red corner, we have ADotC, with a grand total of 18 posts.

In the blue corner, we have Friggerpants, with a total of 2793 posts.

Friggerpants is well ingrained into the TSR community and has proven his knowledge and worth on multiple occasions. ADotC, on the other hand, comes in spouting rubbish and insults with his first post. Who is going to win?
