    My bad.
    It was meant to represent that you researched the 'best' course and went to the said university. Opposed to finding a decent course but going to alternative universities for other reasons.

    Not before applying, no. But after I got my offers I spent ages looking at the course structures of all the universities I applied and chose the university which had the best course, even though I prefered some aspects of other universities better.

    Yes, by the beginning of uni I knew the content of every module as well as who taught it. I almost feel that I knew more back then than what I do now three years later.

    Not really. I focused on what the subjects were rather than what aspects would be taught.
