Hello, I got a job SOMEHOW! (woo!) charming my way through to be a Membership sales consultant at a health club...... However it's full time and one day clashes with the course i want to do from September.... Do you think I'd be taking the piss to ask them for Saturdays off.... should i ask? or would i risk my employment.... or just seem like I'm not serious

I guess there is no harm in asking?
What course is it? Could it be seen as a aide to improve your sales ability (something the company might be impressed with?). -

Ah it's a one year....... access ACTING course, trying to get into drama school/uni and i suppose it would increase my chances... but then i do think i could compensate doing something else whilst working, which in the current economy having any job at all is almost a miracle
