Hate spending time with couples.

Just spent the last two hours with two couples talking about their sex life.

So ******* lonely, maybe it's the drink but only this bottle of wine will consolidate me. Been years since I've had genuine interest.

I hate being alone. **** this place.

no-one likes spending time with a couple when they are the third person..so you're not alone definitely. you would also have better luck finding someone going out with other single people, no man will approach you when you're sitting with a couple, surely!

Being a third or fifth wheel is never nice, but if they were good friends with you they would try and get you into the conversation, its happened to me a couple of times before and usually i would go to the toilet or go for a cigarette (back when i smoked regularly) unnanounced, then when i got back it was easier to socialise.

Nobody likes being a third wheel. I was a 7th wheel once, that was odd.

... But still, I'm friends with them both of them separately, they've been going out for over 2 years and go to York uni together, and I haven't seen either of them for over a year, so it won't be so bad :h:

I know exactly how you feel. Believe me, you're not alone. Usually when I get that awkward feeling, I pull out my phone and start texting people. This way I don't feel like I'm there for no reason.

I'm the third nipple in two of my friends' relationship haha.

I know what you mean, seeing them so happy together does get me down a little. But they're not really into PDA or anything, so it's not so bad.
The right person will come along at some point. Being depressed about it won't make it happen.

same here OP, my two best friends decided to hook up and now it seems that going out to the cinema etc.... with them is really awkward and boring. Yet they still insist on dragging me through the hell that is being ignored :frown:

Another thing is that they expect me to be the middleman, solve their problems (which is quite often). I mean i dont mind but its just like being an on call counselor and then they just shun you again when everythings is back to normal. :frown:
