Has anyone ever become a really reliable and loyal friend to someone, always there for them To have them backstab you and tell people about some of the most private things about you, the moment your situation gets a bit tough and you're no longer Mr or Miss popularity?

    I find this annoying

I've had this happen to me twice in my life, and thank God this has been a good year, because guess what. My latest betrayal, but a so-called ex-good friend of mine was the worst thing that has happened to me this year. I hate being betrayed.

    *by a so-called good friend.

Basically coz it's been a good year, it has given me the opportunity to think things through and realise that this 'princess' of an ex-friend is really just a selfish, status-obsessed so and so and quite frankly, I'm glad to be rid of her.

I'm just annoyed she's making friends with my other friends in the process, it's not helping.

One of the things I told her in confidence was about my private art & erotic nude modeling life, a privelidge she thoroughly abused by basterdising what I told her.

And simplified to people we both knew, that I was 'working as a stripper at a cheap nightclub and my pictures were in a cheap porno. Which one of her bf's friends saw'.

When in fact I have been in the acting industry (mainstream) since I was a teenage, starring in local theatre productions such as Greece etc

I have also done a lot of art modeling, which sends me to unrobe for art classes, and to art photographers who shoot for highly respected art publications.

I've also had the opportunity to undertake great promotional assignments, for companies like Vodaphone, Westfield and Fanta.

I feel hurt that not only has she simplified what my private life is like, but has told everyone we both knew, when I moved to another city

I feel a bit betrayed by her basically. I thought that she could have been a better friend.

    Lol no not at all!

This is someone from outside. I wouldn't dare start talking about this ex-friend in close proximity to her.

This is not the time nor the place for WoW references my friend.

OP, yes I have - but it just makes you realise they were never worth being friends with in the first place, therefore I was always just glad to be rid of them.

    Thanks hun

I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced this too.

I think the most annoying and hurtful thing is that I asked if she could be discrete and obviously not tell people at work and my uni friends.

Being a nice person, I didn't force silence on her or anything either

It was a simple request. And she broke my trust. Completely.

Unfortunately in life there are always going to be people like her. All you can do is ensure you never stoop to their level, and let them ruin their own lives with their selfish and backstabbing ways. They can't keep it up forever, not without losing the trust and respect of everyone around them.

Was there any reason why she did this? Did you have an argument?

    Sort of.

I moved to another city other side of the country, and I'm still to this day not 100% sure why she said we were 'different' in personality (?? We did everything together). She hated calling me coz of the phone bill, made other excuses so we broke up

Then I removed her off Facebook after a massive arguement about her deleting our photos and not letting me see her wall.

Was a bit harsh but I felt **** at the time, then she got a random mate of hers to verbally abuse me.

    Anyway that was months ago.
