A more vocational subject such as accounting - business studies - marketing is a better set up to be employable in competitive companies (fields - sales, marketing - accounting - corporate markets) with tasty first year salaries than graduates of history, english and the like.
(assuming both parties had a good, even array of semi relevant work experience for the job in hand)

Unless you are being thrown in at the deep end, no. I would like to think the training provided should set you up.

Maybe a slight advantage but the trainings/schemes are aimed to develop these anyway, so slightly possibly overall not in a major way.
