So is everyone on here waiting until after results day to do uni shopping? I need absolutely tons of stuff. Bed sheets, cutlery, new stationery, etc. And more new clothes of course... :mmm:

I had a results day dream in which we all our Sixth Form had to get our results in the library. However, it was filled with sand and the entrance was lined with crosses and then my Headteacher rode in on horseback. I think I got the results that I needed... No wonder I had broken sleep that night!

I just thought I'd share this with you all :-)

UMS calculations seem to be in my favour...

Yup, I keep thinking that if I buy it before I'm going to jinx it, even though I know its not possible.
I'm, also, using uni as an excuse to buy lots of new clothes. :p:

Nah I think that I would prefer to know one way or the other even if it is bad news.

Your going to Hertford? Aha excellent. Well hopefully I'll be seeing you there in october. Exciting times
I agree that the waiting is horrible but I only want to know if it's good news if you know what I mean?! Hopefully see you next year then. What subject are you doing?

Urgh, Same!! My friend and I are planning on going to stay in oxford for a few days because she has family there. The only time it's conveniant to go is a couple of days after results, but I had to buy the tickets now otherwise it's too expensive. So now I feel like I've jinxed my results by buying the tickets, even though I keep telling myself the results were decided the minute I finished the exam I can't get it out of my head!

The sad thing is the papers have all been marked and you can't do anything about that. So there is no point in worrying.

I've now had a total of 3 "exam failure" dreams. Two of which involved kitchen utensils.

I'm also in the predicament of not daring to buy anything for uni until after results day. The problem with that is that I'm on holiday for 3 of the 4 weeks between results and starting uni. Not good!
