I haven't finished yet, but I am absolutely dreadng results day. Even thinking about it fills me with fear. I'm planning to just check track in the morning, then if I'm in, go to school, and if not stay, cry and be utterly depressed, but in reality I'll probably be up checking track all night!

I feel so sorry for that girl in the Youtube clip.

I think it's reached the time where you can just about get away with this thread
I'm very apprehensive - I'm only AS so its not the "make or break" situation most A2 students are facing. I don't think I've done terribly, but not as well as I was hoping - I suppose you can never tell, so hopefully results day will go my way

And only 66 days? Crikey, that sounds close. That's quite worrying!
    Oh, and first reply!
    Indeed. Hehe.

I am a little nervous, but at the moment I have been lucky to just have the feeling of utter sereness and freedom having finished my exams 48 hours ago.

I have my results day on the 20th, then my brother's GCSE results on the 27th. I don't think my mum can take any more.
Same here. Doesn't help that I get all wound up, and he doesn't enough. He will be so smug if he passes them all, his primary revision method being asorbing the information through the air with the appropiate revision book placed in the same room. *eyeroll*

Anyone heard of a rewards system?

My brother origionally wanted to trial it (educational achievement isn't much of a motivator for him) after me hearing one of my mates mates mum told him she would do a system similar to this:

    Per A* = £50
    Per A = £40
    Per B = £30
    Per C = £20

    Per D = - £10
    Per E = - £20
    Per F = - £30
    Per G = - £40
    Per U = - £50

I had a similar system ot this for my GCSEs

    Except Mine went £50 for A* £25 A

    Nothing below that got anything
    If I had got a D = £0 overall

I saw the exact moment when she realised she misread it. LOl. Surely AAB is still a good result, and how could she POSSIBLY misread it?

I won't be worrying about results day at all until probably a week before the 20th. And that's when unis get our results.

Is everyone going to check on UCAS before they get their results? (A2 guys)
I am, I would feel so stupid to get my results and to find out that I don't get into uni in front of everyone...

I remember the GCSE countdown thread last year - it seems crazy that I was doing this same sort of thing last year. Scary stuff! I was really nervous about my GCSEs, and did a LOT better than I was expecting, so I'm hoping its a similar scenario :P
